Sorry bout not getting back been a bad couple of days! Anyway, I bought these tires from 4wheelparts.com along with 4 rims (ar-40?) for about a grand back in '99. I run them with 22-24 psi and my guess would be arond 30-35000 miles (mostly road English 4x4 parks aren't that great) The reason for the "oval" call came from a buddy of mine who is an advid 4x4 guru (although in a jeep) and noticed that when i was driving the left rear well would "bounce" or roll like an egg from tip to tip so this weekend i am going to remove it and see what i can find. I will let you know whats up with it after then.

wow, must be pretty bad if you can feel it in the back. Please let me know what else you find out. Did you let the truck sit for a long while?

Well finaly had time to look a little further into this. I jacked the truck up and checked the wheel assy for any play and luckily there was none. So i can safely say that the shafts and bearings seem to be in good shape. However when i spun the wheel around it did seem "lopsided" or "ovaled". I noticed that as the wheel slows down to a stop it will continue its momentum as if it is over ballanced heavily on one side. Sure enough i look inside the rim and there lay the original weights i used 4 years ago. So i am going to have them ballanced this weekend and see how they are. I hope that they haven't worn this way too bad as i need to save up monies for new tires.

Please let me know if balancing helped the problem. Btw- how much tread do you have left on em after 4 years? And about how many you estimate you have on em?
