I'm all for strength, like a heavy-duty tie rod BUT .....
if axledeep was running one at the time of his incident,
what would have happened ? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
He could have broken a tie-rod-end, or steering arm,
whatever the weakest point is <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />
At least he could drive it home with just a bent tie-rod.
I ran a slightly bent one for years with no problem.
The FSM shows how to correct the toe-in, don't need to take
it to a shop. Don't need perfection for wheeling.

Just my .02 cents worth. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
