Sunder is correct if you own a Ford Motor Company! But if what you own is a large ELM tree like me, changing the clutch assembly can be a *****. The cylinder is unlike any other I have seen. It has a hole in the middle of the cylinder through which the tranny shaft passes. Get it? the cylinder looks like a long black donut. So what we ALL do is to purchase a KIT that has the clutch, pressure plate, cylinder and the alignment tool for reassembly. About $150. most places. Without the needed tranny Jack there is a lot of lifting and pushing, but we have all done it.
