Joe,

I'm just an hour from the I75/I70 interchange if you come through this way, so please feel free to call on me if there's anything I might help with, if you pass by, and all prior offers stand as well.

James

Aaron seems to think there aren't many women in Rock Springs - did he get her name??

Turns out she has some baggage, Jeff, thanks for looking out for me though. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

Joe & Vic are into Part Duex of the DOR move. They leave early Tuesday morning if they didn't get on the road Monday night. Please keep them in your prayers for an uneventful and safe journey (including Vic's return drive next week). Thanks!

I'm in raleigh, and you might want to be careful, they're expecting snow in exactly one week. Being from ID you probably know how to get around in it but there are two issues:

1) We don't get snow as in the powdery white fluffy stuff. It turns to ice, solid ice and it covers the roads.

2) Nobody around here can drive worth sh*t. Easy upwards of 2000 wrecks a day just in the triangle area last time there was slick stuff on the roads. You might as well just drop a nuclear device on the city when it snows, you'd probably save more lives like that.

Welcome to NC!

Yup, I spoke with Joe about 5 hours ago and they were about 20 miles outside of Topeka (near about where the bus died) and were going to be stopping in there for some dinner then stop for a while to sleep. They've only had to stop once for a little "tune-up" (spark plug, wires) for his truck around Albany, but everything else is running fine.

TroopTad- Thanks for the heads up on the weather. I passed that on and he wasn't thrilled to hear about it. Where they're headed for is about 40 miles north of Raleigh.

Keep up those good prayers and positive energy!

weather.com has since changed their forcast though... no snow.

Use this link to keep on top of things weatherwise: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/27614?lswe=27614&lwsa=WeatherLocalUndeclared
