XREAS won't work with what I'm scheming up, or it will have to be removed all together. Nor will it be cheap. There will be a number of custom components that I will have to design and build.

Sway bars, yeah, I've given that a great deal of thought as well. Circle track guys have some technology that may be adaptable... With the amount of on the shelf hardware that is out there for end links, etc. a shopping cart could be filled, you just have to know where to look. McMaster Carr, Grainger and a handful of local Industrial supply houses have more junk than I could shake a stick at.

I priced a brand new '04 at the dealer yesterday, SR5, center diff lock, some HD options, base everything else (base is pretty loaded), and a V8. $31,100.00 out the door, taxes and all. I'm thinking dual purpose wheeler / tow rig. The Tundra is nice, but I've gotten used to having an SUV.

I dunno, call it mid-life crisis if you will, but I need something to work on 'cause the 3rd Gen. is done.
