Well, I think there might be a small demand for Sorento lift parts, 'specialy in Europe, where they really seem to like to off road the Sorento. So if if you ever get a chance to do some Sorento parts, let me know - I'll buy them!

Sorry Phoenix, I haven't climbed under my dad's Sorento for you yet. Having a hard time hooking up with him. But I won't forget . . .

I was looking at the spec drawings on the KIA website, and they look like totaly different items, so I doubt they'll work. Now, if someone would just start making them.....

give me some photos and some measurements and i'll see what i can do, but be aware, you may have to fit a couple different versions before i get it right.

OK. I wonder if I'll need to pull the strut to get proper measurments....

On the rear coil srings, do you sportage people mostly just install a longer spring/shock? Or just a coil spacer?

there's not really a usual yet, there aren't enough of us who've done it yet, but i would say most of us have new coils and some have spacers and some have both. new coils are always the best way to go, but it is difficlut to do because you will be without one coil in front and one coil in the rear for the time the coil manufacturer is making them, or about 3 weeks, unless you buy a new front and a new rear coil from the dealer for them to work from (actually the best choice).

I see. Do you have a name of someone who makes coil springs and is it expensive? I'm sure I could find a wrecked Sorento somewhere and get a coil spring. The front I'll likely have to go with a spacer.

yes, i have a manufacturer that i deal with.

spacers will probably work, but it is always better for ride quality and off-road performance to replace the coils with taller ones. i can build a spacer, but like i said, it could be some work.
