I've got a chance to buy a wrecked '90 4Runner and I'm wondering if there is enough interest in parts to make it worthwhile? So, what parts would you want and what would you pay-bottom dollar?

It is a V6 (engine replaced under HG recall), auto, 4x4. Body is trashed, but the motor, tranny, transfer case, front and rear axles all good. It has 130k miles, 100k on motor. I'm in Alabama.

I'd possibly be interested in a spare front CV axle. Also, driver and passenger front window motors. Is it an auto or manual? You can PM me if you'd rather.

Auto tranny. Gotta check if it has power windows. I'm only gonna buy it if there is enough interest in parts online and locally.

Unless something happens, I'll be buying the 4Runner on Sunday. So, if you are interested in parts, please e-mail me at dragr@charter.net with what you want.
It will have interior parts (grey), the motor might be sold. Only good body parts are front fenders, grill, hood, and front doors. It has no radio. Auto tranny and 4x4-axles good, it also has the 3rd gen 15x7 alloy wheels and 265/75/15 Goodyear street tires.

Most interior panels in good shape. Seats in good shape but they have gotten rained on once. Grey interior.

I have a 90 with grey interior and i have a few things i would love to get from your part-vehicle.

`cup holder
`plastic cover for rear seat hinges
`fan selector switch
`a handful of plastic panel clips holders (the round things that hold the panels to the wall)
`the plastic panel for the sunroof switch on the ceiling
`the crank handle for lowering the spare tire (located under the rear seats
`a spare cv axle would be awesome as well
`1 rear window switch

I think about 5-10 bucks for each item is probably allright with me if its allright with you, excluding the cv axle of course, and the handful clips maybe a buck or two. Just let me know what you have you could hook me up with cuz my `90 has tons of little things that need replacing/fixing. thanks a lot

I keep thinking about stuff and i remembered some other stuff that needs fixing as well, so here are some other more serious parts i would shell out for from ya'

`mounting brackets for rear bumper (i think 4 in all) mine are all bent up from getting rear-ended)
`catalytic converter (bolting a v6 cat on my 22re would be all the high flow i would want)
`and what size alternator was on the v6?
