'sup georgia! the only kind of questions that are actually stupid newbie questions are the ones you dont ask, where it could have prevented accidentally leaving a major part somewhere on the trail, or lighting your brake pads on fire <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />.

get a factory service manual, haynes manual, or whatever you can find (the fsm is best, but $$$)...taking care of the engine, and bolt-on suspension mods, are the easiest place to start wrenching. work your way up til all your mods involve welding something (community college welding class = <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> ), and you spend all your time on the pirate bbs searching the archives and trying not to get flamed for asking stupid newbie questions <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
