This might help. 400 - 6.6 GM, 5.7 - 350 GM, 5.0 - 302 GM, 5.9 - 360 Chry., 289 - 4.7 Ford, 302 - 5.0 (cough 4.9) Ford. So i would have to take a guess that its about a 296 and 318? But those are just guesses.

Cubic inces convert to liter by dividing by 61. So 5.0 inches is actually 305, they round it to look better. By this formula a 5.3 would be about 327 inches, and so on. however you need to be aware the new Vortec line has nothing in common with the old small block. It is now called the ls line, same as a Corvette Ls1, hope this helps you out

Howdy Jr. It works out to closer to 61.4 than just 61. So 61.4 X 5.3 litres = 325.43 cu.in. The sales folks at the chevy dealers LIKE to call this engine a 327 cu.in. Because we (most of us) can relate to the old 327. It is, however, not even close. Big Jim
I forgot to add: This makes the 4.8 litre a 294.72cu.in.

You forgot the original small block, the 265. Then there's the 262 used in V8 Monza's, the 396 and the 402. The 389 is a Pontiac engine. 321? 326? 421? 425? Are these the new modular engines?

I thought the Caddies were 472 and 500. Chevy makes an aftermarket 502 though. I think there was also a 296 Inline 6, as well as a 250.

CSP I said all the "GM motors" and the 421 was a mid 60's pontiac motor and there was a mid 60's buicik rivera GS that came with a 425 dual quad setup the 326 came in the pontiac tempest and i cant remember what the 321 was in p.s u might be right about the caddy motor
