Sacromentophil, are you sure it is only 87-98 ft-lbs? I didn't look at my manual, I only recall that the spec was astronomical. 87-98 is more in the range for a 1/2-9/16" bolt. I could have sworn that it was higher than that. I could be wrong, but 87-98 just doesn't seem tight enough. 87-98 ft-lbs is pretty easy to obtain with a half inch breaker bar, and most 1/2" impact guns put out at least twice that amount of torque. I will have to double check my manual, but I swore it was higher than that, if I am wrong, I guess I will eat a nice big helping of crow for dinner.
