Count me in....
Terry in Tooele, Utah, 30 miles west of Salt Lake on I-80. There are a few hundred trails within a 50 mile radius. Good trails out here for the beginer to experienced. No pretty-boy trucks please, some of these roads are dusty, muddy, rocky, narrow and you will definately gather some off-road pin stripes, and a possible diviot or two from the trees and rocks.
I drive a basicly stock chevy blazer with 35" tires for axel clearence, no lift to keep stable on the side hills. I like to travel mostly ATV type trails, slow, rocky and narow but a great chalange and some great sights within an hour of my home. Some of these include: Salt Flats, Pony Express Trail, Topaz, Geode Fields, Ghost Towns and Mines, caves, dunes, Great Salt Lake and much more.
Sorry no room at the inn... I will provide a great dinner, but you gotta provide your own sleeping arangements. There are several nice hotels in Tooele, and military have access to the depot with rv parking. We also are not against camping... this is a desert, but we also have some great canyon camp sites.
THIS IS A DESERT!!! Plan accordingly...water, etc.
