I am working on a project on the Isuzu board of putting together a list of 4X enthusiasts across the country who would be willing to share hospitality with someone traveling in a new area. Options could be getting together for dinner, swapping stories over a cup of coffee, offering a spare bed for an overnight, or anything else. I am putting this out for any and all brand owners who would like to take part. I would ask that you PM or email me ( jezeric@cinci.rr.com ) with your name, contact information, what you are able to provide, and any other information you might find worthwhile. As the list grows, I will break it down by some region determination yet to be decided and have it available for anyone traveling through an area. I will also have it open for those who would just like to get to know other 4X enthusiasts in their area, so keep that in mind as well. We're off to a good start in the Isuzu forum, so feel free to join in and take the idea back to your home forums for others to find. I'm willing to sort the list any way someone likes, but you may have to give me some info if I don't recognize you myself. Thanks in advance and happy wheeling, James Zuehlke New Addition! I am posting the current collection of initial participants in the host list. All I am posting in this list is state and username. If more information is needed, contact the individual via PM or contact me and I will provide what additional information is offered. AK - Alaska VX AZ - valleycat, AZRain, ArbitraryNotion, 90yjexplorer CA - randii, Chris V, Vovkus, Drakemore, 90yjexplorer CO - Molly Bantz, Sweater, Mod Man FL - 89RS, Troopaholic, KTJeffries IL - Throttlejockey IN - FIEND, jdobbsj KY - tcolon MD - FattyCBR NJ - pucci, Rubo NY - Rubo OH - Paul Elbisser, jezeric OR - joehope PA - Stan Marshall, DMG TX - TXCO RIG, derangedcj, JasonA, bob large UT - jgalt VA - ckimbrough18, chasespeed WV - wvuguy, Bigpoppax2, Smiley If you are not on this list and have contacted me already, or would like to join it, please let me know and I will try to keep it relatively updated. If you are on this list and are unable to still help,or uncomfortable with the idea, let me know and I will remove you from it. I want to keep this as friendly and non-invasive as possible for people. Thanks.

I'd really like to see some cross-platform interest in this, if anyone's willing to be part of it. Please take it back to your home makes and spread the idea around. This could be a big benefit for someone traveling in your area, or give you someone new to wheel with.

Still growing slowly. Please feel free to join in. If you have any questions about internet security, tell me how much you are willing to have available to others and, even if you send more up front, I'll be sure to only make that much available for contact. I am very interested in not letting this feel like an invasion of privacy.
Thanks, James

I've added the current list, by state and username of those who are currently on the list. Please continue to let me know if you are interested in participating. I am hoping to have a more interactive format available sometime in the future.
Thanks, James

We keep adding a few more all the time. Check back often to see if someone new is in the area.

Count me in.... Terry in Tooele, Utah, 30 miles west of Salt Lake on I-80. There are a few hundred trails within a 50 mile radius. Good trails out here for the beginer to experienced. No pretty-boy trucks please, some of these roads are dusty, muddy, rocky, narrow and you will definately gather some off-road pin stripes, and a possible diviot or two from the trees and rocks. I drive a basicly stock chevy blazer with 35" tires for axel clearence, no lift to keep stable on the side hills. I like to travel mostly ATV type trails, slow, rocky and narow but a great chalange and some great sights within an hour of my home. Some of these include: Salt Flats, Pony Express Trail, Topaz, Geode Fields, Ghost Towns and Mines, caves, dunes, Great Salt Lake and much more. Sorry no room at the inn... I will provide a great dinner, but you gotta provide your own sleeping arangements. There are several nice hotels in Tooele, and military have access to the depot with rv parking. We also are not against camping... this is a desert, but we also have some great canyon camp sites. THIS IS A DESERT!!! Plan accordingly...water, etc. For more info contact me at: maintain@xmission.comLETS ROCK!

I live in North Bonneville, WA. I am about 30-45mins east of Vancouver, WA...which is just north of Portland, OR. North Bonneville, WA is loacted in the Columbia River Gorge.
I am always willing to go rescue a broken rig, help with a isuzu maintanence issue/question, recover a stuck rig, or assist a isuzu wheeler that meets some sort of other problem. I would be willing to drive a few hours, in order to reach that person if that was required. I also have the capability to flat tow a rig.
Feel free to add me to this list of "helpers".
I am also willing to offer my house, as a place for a wheeler to crash at if needed. If your in the area, and you just want to visit, that's ok too. Just call first.
My cell is 360-907-3167, and my email is in my signature.
