yyyes! backdoor light is off. now, the driver side lock cable...does that make sense? anyways it isn't pulling the lock mechanism very much...i took it out, tried cleaning it up, extending each end as much as possible many many times...coated the focker with oil...still wont do its job. I guess i just need another one. any guesses on how much those would cost? oh yeah..the window wont go up or down, still.
according to rb's website, these are the rule outs so far..
1. Fusible link blown
2. Circuit breaker OFF
3. Engine fuse blown
4. Power window/wiper relay faulty
5. Power window regulator switch faulty

7. Cover top switch faulty ('84-'89 only)
8. Ensure all bolts are installed ('84-'89 only)
Especially the driver's side "A" bolt, there is an interlock switch under it

10. Power window motor faulty
11. Rear wiper retraction detection switch faulty
12. Wiring or ground faulty

thats whats ok...this is what im not sure of, or the location of...
6. Back door control switch faulty
9. Door lock detection switch faulty

is the door pin i cleaned up, is that one of those?
