Just a little picture to get us excited!
[Linked Image]

Go here http://planetbantz.com/molly/poster/MOAB_IKONOS_LANDSAT.jpg to see the full resolution image (622KB) - and this is down from the original 2GB image file!

In the 622KB image, I *think* you are looking at the Colorado River as it flows out of Moab - so the top of the main image is the Moab Rim Trail and Behind the Rocks, and the bottom (partly obscured) is Poison Spider. Feel free to correct me if I got it wrong

For those keeping track at home... 11 wrenching weekends left, not counting the last one (Mother's Day weekend), since I figure that is most likely a travel weekend.

How are YOUR preparations going?

I have a box full of parts, a few parts on order, and a few ideas to implement. plenty of time yet...right?

Is anyone planning any pre-event activities like past years? I think we're leaving saturady morning or friday night. Maybe visiting friends/family in Aurora, and maybe the taking the southern route through CO into Utah and take an extra day or two getting there.

Sorry for the derail

No worries Mike...

I havent thought that far yet, but I will most likely be headed out 5/7 and spend my birthday/Mothers Day weekend in Moab chillin. Perhaps pre-running trails and who knows what else...

What part of Aurora? I live there ya know... :p Off of Tower and Iliff...

And Walt has us covered for today... Thanks Walt, and everyone else helping out! The library thing is painfully inconvenient... Perhaps the taxman cometh with a laptop PC???
