Two weeks. This is my last weekend before Moab. I lose next weekend to my friends out of town wedding. Fortunately after tomorrow morning I only have maintenance items left to do. Wheel bearings, pinion seal, reinstall the front sway bar, change the oil, rotate the air in my tires, replace a muffler bearing, I should really replace the cracked windshield. I need a new CB antenna and associated parts. The there's the camping stuff I have to go through.

oh well. Atleast my truck is mostly assembled

Mike W gettin' the jitters!

ab....mo....ab....mo....ab....moa....b....moab....moab....MOAB!!!!

You're lucky. I lose everything until the 6th to a trip to Italy and the UK, leaving today. It's a lot less glamorous than it sounds: all business, all tech-type cleanup at our remote offices. I had to drastically speed up the axle install, and will still be welding some stuff up at the last minute when I get back.

It looks like I'm on track to do this to myself every year...

It must be getting close to Moab time.

My co-workers are shaking there heads, when they hear how much I've spent on my truck lately. I keep putting off going to the grocery store, cause it's not a priority right now. Working on the truck, and planning for the journey is all that matters.

I'm a freaking Moab addict, I even have a Moab Zu Zoo spreadsheet. I have gas, food, lodging costs, all laid out. I even spent the time to calculate my driving speeds in different areas, to know when I need to leave from point to point.

My mind's in moab, but my bodys trapped in Stevenson. HA! There is only one cure..............
MOAB ZU ZOO NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know I bet I could do some major tire clearance, if I use the extrication tools off of Rescue 71 here! Maybe I can say I was just testing the Jaws of Life, so that they would be at the utmost ready for summer use. Think work will bite??? HAHAHA!!!

Spent a good chunk of today in the garage, installing a TJM bumper...lotta work for a few inches more clearance up front!

Oh well, everything from here on out is "optional", not a crisis if it doesn't happen. I am now officially ready-to-go-if-I-have-to...

Of course that assumes I can get my work schedule straightened out...

15 days...

Yep, I hear ya, replaced the BENT up trailing links yesterday... That was interesting, including the part of having to drop the fuel tank to get the bolt out on the drivers side!

That's easy, just drive it! They will rotate very nicely...

Since he also listed replacing the muffler bearings, I think it is safe to say he was kidding (at least toward the end of that list)...

Funny, my Amigo was in a similiar condition Saturday morning. I ran out of day light friday night. I had one link that had aquired a gentle arc to it (self clearancing? ) I added a little Bling to the deal

To properly rotate the air in your tires, you need 4 air tight containers, a compressor and a vacuum pump. Remove the air from each tire into the containers using the Vacuum pump. Be sure to note which tire the air in each container came from. Now move the containers to the new tires in an X pattern-left front to right rear etc. Now, this is the important part, turn the containers upside down and rotate 180 degrees( end for end). Pump the air back into the tire at the appropriate tire. Increases my tire life by 1000% and gas mileage by about 50%, of course, YMMV

Anyone know of a quick fix for a blinker fluid resevoir leak? I was thinking JB weld or something similiar?
