Getting the Wheeling Fever
i'm trying to go synthetic in my diffs. the manual calls for 80w90 for the rear for temperatures between 0-90F but i cannot find a synthetic 80w90. all i can find is 75w90 royal purple and mobil 1 (which i bought for my front diff). is this good enough or is there an alternative? side note: i did the 'search' and only came up with frnt and 44d info; no 12 bolt info.

any help would be greatly appreciated. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
thanks
joel

I run the Mobil 1 75W90 in the rear axle of my Amigo (12bolt) since installing the ARB. I doubt my axle knows its 75W90 instead of 80W90, as there have been no issues. I still run cheap 80W90 in the front diff and will continue to until it gets a locker as well.
