The Land Cruiser might have a leg up though. They are quite common down there! Either way, have you REALLY looked into this trip? Speaking as someone who has been to a few of the countries down there, I can't say that I would recommend it! There are very few people who have done this - mostly because of the dangers in some of the countries that you have to pass through.
