I think thats the 8th time you've voided my warrenties... I know your a good man! you'll come through then the rods go through the sides! LOL
Okay so its off the numbers for speed...what I wanna know is why in the hell is temp gauge so frickin high on the scale?! Geezus H. Tits Josh, dont you know that COOL = POWER? Hell if you got a good efficient cooling system set up on there, you could wrap that needle around to the 40 again. Is this picture before or after your electric fan install??? Too hot for my tastes...I see a guage reading like that and I start wondering whats failed, and checking my wallet to see how much its gonna cost me.
Actually, in the 84-88 temp gauges thats below normal. I have a 3core rad and a 22rte thermostat (180deg) With a normal 190deg tstat, it shows just a tad over half. This is the way is been with all of my engine in all of my trucks. From what I've heard, running under normal temps is bad...
My fathers truck always showed 1/8th on the gauge (same style) and we couldn't figure out why.... turns out the PO used a set of tin snips to remove the tstat from the housing. all was left in there was the metal ring!!
