HI backto your 2.2 dsl no the imark manifold won,t fit but i do have a manifold for the 2.2 eng . and the manifold flange where the turbo bolts on is about 2 1/2 by about 3inch bolts spacing, not to difficult to install, one oil line from the connection on the block where the vacc,, pmp is hooked up and a large return line back to the oil pan, then the typical ex, hookup, and the air intake . depending on the rear end gear in your truck somewhere in the 3.40 to 3.73 range and keep the rpm below 3-3500 and even the small rods will last a long time , what happened to these eng when in the troopr, which came with 4.55 gears as soon as the turbo would start building boost at around 2- 2500 rpm if you weren,t careful the eng would go rite to 4800 or higher , even though the pmp has a mech, governor that is suppossed to limit the rpm to 4200 it would reve so fast from 3500 up that it would shoot rite past the gov weights , and the eng would just keep going , after a few times of this the rod bolts would stretch and the one that came loose first would then rock or hinge back and forth on the still tight rod bolt untill it broke and then kaboom, i have saw these things break rods or rather crack them rite at the big end rite where the i beam starts and not break the bolts and they can usually be saved , they will make a loud pop sound and if you know what to listen for no biggie , but if the eng is turning any big no,s. you can kiss it good by . judicious use of the throttle and the eng will last an incrediably long time , hot rodding one be prepared to walk .. jerry , by the way a standard 82 --85 pickup weighed with a.c. and pwr st, rite around 2600 lb,s and most all came with 5spd and 3.73 gears no 4spd turbo,s 4wd all came with 4.11 4 or 5spd, some of the standard dsl,s that came with the 4spd came with 3.42 all 86 troopers came with 4.55 gas and dsl and in 87 the only year, the trooper with the turbo dsl came with 4.11 gears , trying to slow the eng down a bit
