OK, if you got the transfer case out of 4WD and it was still behaving that way you definitely have one or both auto hubs stuck. Try TNToy's advice about driving foreward and backward with the T-case in 2WD in a straight line several times and you might get them to disengage. If they wont and the truck still acts weird I would have a friend drive you to get the parts. It's just a lot of strain on the driveline otherwise.
