well to do it right and to trust your life apon them..i talked to don at gresham offroad...he sends them out to be done profesionally,...i believe he told me 1,200 per axle...now if you were to do it yourself and take a danna 44 and cut it re-weld it and stuff wagoneer shafts inside it would be cheap...or cut and have new splines cut into the inners...i believe its 2" off each side for the d44 and waggy axles...im sure someone will chime in if im incorrect...


I cut down my front dana 60 2.5", it cost $100 to cut and reweld the housing and this including a new passenger side perch. I could've had the stock inner cut down and re-splined for $75 but I opted to get a new Moser and it was $158 shipped to me. I would trust my life with these welds.
