Thanks Paul and SUV for letting me jump into your thread. My truck's an '84. Wouldn't that be the same as an '87 as far as engine compartment clearance for a 7m swap?? Second question. The bell housing for a w-56. Are all 22-r bell housings the same?? toyota redesigned the 22-r from '84 to '85 and I'm wondering if they changed anything as far as bellhousings, flywheels, etc that will effect me. Third, has anyone used "usedjapaneseengines.com"?? Are they reliable and fair??? Was thinking of using them to source my tranny and xfer case. Any thoughts and input is greatly appreciated.
