The Fed. EGR / solinoid model # is very important,,the reply before me has the same as my early '89 v6 , not the 126---#,(dont have it with me.
There is a company in Houston TX , MCU I believe , who rebuilds them and I've heard good referrences on them.
Also check out the internal dist. component, which I can't find , that can cause all kinds of wierd problems when it goes. The commputer is often replaced when it's not the problem.
