Ok... I am back on looking for a 2G trooper... I need to make an informed decision on this one, so I have a few questions about them...

How high will I have to lift it to bolt on my 33x12.50s?

Will I have to do a ball joint flip (again)?

What is the towing capacity of a 2G with a 3.2?

What are the pros and cons of the 2G troopers?


I really like my 1G Troop, and don't want to trade up to a newer model... Primarily because I am a bit afraid that they "Toned it down" to be better for soccer moms. Are the 2Gs tough trucks too? Are they as trail worthy as the 1Gs?

I do like the bodystyle a bit better, and if it is more comfortable, then that is a plus as well.

Any and all information about the 2G Troopers, and how they compare to the 1G Troopers would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to hear from both sides... Perhaps someone has had both and can share the pros and cons of each.
