I've had an 86LS, 95S, 01S, and 95LS Trooper. Both 95s had SOHC and 5spd. The 2nd gen has much more power. The 3.2 and 3.5 handle the 33s fine. Towing w/ 33s and the 3.2 can be a challenge. My trooper really stuggles when pulling my boat (15' grumman v-hull walleye boat) or ATV (Kawi prairie 4x4). Neither load weighs much more tahn 1000lbs, but trooper is very slow. The 3.5L never struggled at all.
