They don't import them to the US, but, Isuzu does Market the NPR's and FRR's in 4 wheel and 6 wheel drive. But we're talking BIG Trucks with big big axles..... (Honey O's cereal song plays thru my head).
Sorry, nothing small enough to be used in our light weight rigs. Jerry has a bunch of spec books on the different models Isuzu has produced over the years all around the world. Interesting reading. His book shelf is the first thing I head for when I visit. I'll carry on conversations with him while I'm perusing the BOOKS.

Oh,and I've looked and looked to see if there was one of those odd ball front straight axles I could find...... Sorry, nothing from Isuzu. AFAIK course, there could be an oddball out there somewhere, but I haven't found it yet.

Don't think there were any of those coming out off Japan either. Maybe one of our Eastern brothers will chime in here with better facts. I didn't look that close to the BIG truck specs.

We have them over here in New Zealand, most commonly use in 4x4 or 6x6 lime or super phosphate spreaders.
They look like a Toyota axles on Steroids (if thatÆs any help?)

Hey thanks Peter,

There ya go Joe, nothing to it. Buy that bad boy, import it to America and pull all the running gear out and you'll have one bad ass straight axle all ZuZU Machine.

Did I say it wasn't going to be cheap???????? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Wonder what a New Zealand Salvage yard gets for a front axle. It doesn't look like a portal or top loader, does it? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

If they run em in 6x6's they'd have to be top-loaders, wouldn't they? It would be a cool alt. to a rockwell <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

big-block, hammer down, 49's anyone? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
