I dont think it will work without some interesting exhaust work. The front clip of the vr4 is a little wider than the montero.

However your half the way there, you have the engine and all the wiring and ecu stuff. You have the turbos. The tranny bellhousing will bolt up (dont know about the fly wheel to the tranny though).

You would have to figure out a new exhast, and new mounts. Should be doable, and way sweet.
