From my very limited expirence in shopping for toyota parts it looks like NWOR makes thier stuff out of gold as thats the only reason to justify thier high prices. Check out some of the other online catalogs and see what you can find. Heck try calling the local auto parts stores.

Im doing similar things to my newly purchased 1990 xcab truck. Im gonna use DOA heads and cams along with Downey headers. As for gaskets these guys here claim to sell only the best (http://engnbldr.com/toyota3.0V-6.htm) and thier prices seem to be about 1/2 of NWOR's. Im betting NWOR probably hasent built as many race cars as these guys either. Im not as anti NWOR as I sound but when the guy selling 1300$ cylinder heads tells you "Im not sure what NWOR's theory is maybe thay just dont wanna sell parts cause thier parts are way over priced" thats an indication to me that I need to shop somwhere else.
