For those wondering what the GSMTR is...
Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride.

It is held May 19 - 22 at Tellico (Eastern Tennessee, Western NC). It is put on by the Southern Toyota Land Cruiser Association. To Mapquest to the nearest town, try Tellico Plains, TN - or try Murphy, NC.

The camping is spectacular, and the wheeling is good.

Here is the STLCA Link

Here are some trip reports

I will be there! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />It should be an interesting experience if the 17 year cicadas are out in force which I am betting they will be. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

I would be honored to have you as a passenger again. I just hope I get the toybox and springover done in time or I will be riding along too. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

I am running out of $$ fast so I am not sure if tires will be in the plan by then. I would like to run 36 or 37s eventually. I may have a superslow SOA truck on puny 33s, talk about a strange sight. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

I know that feeling. I have no $$ left for the trucks since I bought a house. I am "saving up" to buy new wheel bearings for the 80 just so I can drive down to Tellico!

I have some 42"s you can borrow ;-) They are just sitting there dry-rotting!

I am so lame... I still haven't really worked on my truck much since last year!
