The Isuzu C201 engine is an industrial-application engine that's often used for refrigeration, airconditioning and generator units. It is a variant of the Isuzu C2XX-series family of engines.

The engine, according to my industrial engineer-friends, is that this engine was tuned for putting out power at low revs.

They say this is an early 2-liter diesel, 2-spring engine.

I have never seen it installed on a vehicle here (Diesels are popular in Manila) . I don't know if it is usable as a 4x4 engine. (Crawler maybe?) I'll keep asking around.
