I would get me a nice RV, an enclosed trailer to put my rig in, and I would finish up my rig with some nice custom built axles, coil conversion, 35" street tires, 38" trail tires with beadlocks, lockers front and rear, atlas 2, and I would use whatever was left over to put an LT1 engine in and make it all pass smog.

I'm with jackal... a jeep built from "scratch." I'm thinking:

1. galvinized cj7 or cj5 frame built for tj coil springs
2. the nifty kevlar reinforced fiberglass body
3. something like front and rear dana 44s or better
4. air(or cable controlled) lockers front and rear
5. adequate modifications/lift to clear 37x12.5 inchers(I'm not really extreme enough for anything much larger)
6. Engine, tranny and transfer case.. undecided

Everything else is quite secondary(except for the roll cage), but it would include a custom dash, etc. None of this will ever happen since I don't buy lottery tickets and my career goals are in academic areas(which is unlikely to generate a hefty income). But it IS fun to dream. smile

First i would fix up my current Jeep. You know do all the stuff i dream of doing to it. Then i would go for a lovely Jeep rubicon...trick that out with some mondo lift and other goodies hmm lets see that still leaves about $900,000 thou for other stuff...hmm thats a hard one...i would invest in dymler...so that i can one day get a majority stock holding then Jeep would have some spiffy changes...few more options you know keep the wheelers happy...acually confirm some sort of trail rating code...but hey hopes i can dream of <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I'll take a Rubicon,

One of these:

And serious work to my CJ7.

Then I'd buy a house with a fully stocked garage.

The rest I'd put in the bank to live off the interest.
