This may sound like an assnine question considering they are multi-purpose trucks, but I'm suspicious as to whether a couple of you guys use your zus as daily drivers. Personally, I actually use my trooper to tow my hobie-cat around all over the place, a task for which its suited nicely. I actually got the huge 33x12.5's because I figured they'd do great on the sands of the outer banks when I'm trying to launch my boat off the beach. I'm also the bus considering I'm the only one of my friends with a SUV. Its made several trips to key west full of intoxicated college students from North Carolina, 18 hours at 80+mph, and when you come to a stop it starts shaking because... well I dunno why :P http://www.ncsailing.org/albums/masonsp03/Tad.sized.jpg

You are not alone :)) I use my Trooper as a daily driver, and as a tow truck for small Coronado-15 sailboat.
Also Trooper was twise used as mooving truck. It is amaising, I can put twin size matrass inside without problem.

After driving it for 8 years as my daily driver, 120 miles a day, my wife now drives it just 30 miles a day as her daily driver. It is still my camping, fishing, exploring truck. I spend a lot of time making lists of what I want to do to it next, tires, upgraded ignition, safari rack etc.

Mine is my daily driver. I also use it to go on ski and mountain bike road trips. I had a custom bike trailer made for me in Durango and can tow up to 7 bikes and related gear, coolers, tools, repair stand, camping gear etc.. I have also used it to move all my worldly belongings. With Yakima bars on top I can haul just about anything I can lift up there. And when we have snow here I occasionally use it to pull a skier or sledder along the mining roads around here! I am sure there have been more uses over the last 14 years (I had a 1st gen Rodeo before this one). I am just drawing a blank right now.

My Trooper is my daily driver, grocery getter, kid hauler, soccer ball carrier, furniture mover, trailer puller, camping vehicle, and a chocolate milk maker. When ever the family goes on a trail ride we take a gallon of milk and empty out a glas or two. Then we add chocolate milk mix and re seal the jug. Next the jug is placed in a cooler and we hit the trail. when the ride is over we have perfect chocolate milk. My oldest daughter thought this one up.

I originally purchased my Trooper to haul my former band and our gear around in. I felt the van like space with 4wd and room for four punks, it was a perfect band wagon. We did a lot of winter touring in college and the 4wd was perfect for the snowy northeast. Back in the early 90's there wasn't really any other vehicle that met those needs. Now it serves as my DD and trail rig...until the band gets back together. Who knows? Thanks Craig

Well they call it a Vehicross and they weren't kidding I take mine offroad, use it as a daily driver, and if I wake up on time in the summer I race it at the drag strip. Kinda funny being the only Zu (or SUV for that matter) there but someones's gotta do it, I even race with my Mickey Thompsons on, LOL. I actually have 2-2nd place trophies and I have only been there 5 or 6 times. I'm known at the track as the NASA Moon Buggy. It's great meeting people at the track with their 11 sec cars, I ask if they want to go cruisin with me, they hop in and about a 1/2 mile down the road from the track is a really fun offroad trail and as I blaze down the trail they always say "I wish my car did this" I love it!!!
