IMHO I have found most mech's I take my Isuzu's to (NoVA area anyway),know very little about them and usually screw it up more. I would take it to a dealer and get their opinion first. It could or could not save you some cash depending on what they think is wrong. In any event you'll at least get a diagnosis from an expert then you can get it replaced where ever you like.
