Well I finally finished it this past weekend. I still need to add a license plate light though. I am quite happy with the outcome. Now the Cruiser goes under the knife. ![[Linked Image]](http://users.starpower.net/johnsmith/done2.jpg)

Looks good John. I can't tell from the pictures, but I was wondering what you used to fasten the diamond plate to the bed frame? Screws, rivets? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much was the sheet of aluminum? I need to finsh the bed I have on my rig. For the last year it's just been a tube frame with a piece of plywood thrown in when I needed to haul something. After seeing yours I'm inspired to get it finished. ![[Linked Image]](http://pics.montypics.com/beatertoyota/2003-11-11/1068599928_Paragon03.jpg)

Thanks for all the positive feedback!
Jason, I drilled and tapped 28 M6x1.0 holes in the steel frame then countersunk the holes in the aluminum and used stainless steel hardware. The 1/8in. 8'x4' sheet of brite tread aluminum was $130 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Rough Tuff dull aluminum was another $60 or per sheet. If I were to do it over again I probably would have just gone with 1/8 steel for around $60 for a sheet that size.
I was really worried about the weight of the steel treadplate but it would have been so much easier to just weld it to the top of the frame. The aluminum will hold up much better to the winter enviorment around here though.

The aluminum looks really good with the toolbox though. Nice!
