Yes I did a search but I need the part number and how many teeth are on the speedo trans gear.I found a shop that will test my speedo error for free. I saw that post not long ago. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Here are a few part numbers passed on to me by a good friend.
8944733080 16 Teeth 8970120851 17 Teeth 8944733040 18 Teeth 8944733031 19 Teeth 8944733021 20 Teeth
The best thing you can do is pull your old one and make calculations from there.

Not to hi-jack the post but are these gears good for manual and autos? What years are we talking here? I've got an 88 5-Speed that needs some correction. And I'll have a 98 auto as soon as a change tires.
A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

THOSE PT NO,S FOR THE SPEEDO GEARS ARE FOR THE 88-91 TROOPER 5SPD 89-91 V6 AUTO, AS THE TRANSFER CASE IS THE SAME DRIVE SETUP, ALL RODEOS WITH THE 5SPD 4WD AND THE AUTO 4WD SAME SETUP AS THE TROOPER , NOT THE 2WD, 92-97 TROOPERS AND RODEOS ALL WITH 4WD EXCEPT THE TROOPERS WITH TOD, GEARS ARE DIFFERENT ,HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YOU OUT JERRY
