Got a quick question, when converting from ADD to Warn manual hubs, does one need the 54mm nuts and washers from my (donor) truck, do they have them already on their ADD truck? Only asking because I want to ship them ASAP but cant get them off the one side.

You can use channel locks to take them off, but remember those nuts need to be properly torqued so you have the correct bearing preload when you put it all back together. As far as needing the 54mm nuts, i see no reason why the ADD truck will not have them..

Yes, you will still need the 54mm nuts when going from live (ADD)hubs to manual hubs. Those nuts hold your wheel bearings in place. We have a place called Steve's Wholesale here in OKC that sells those 54mm spindle nut sockets for about $12. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

if it is ADD, you dont need to remove the spindle nuts, it already has the proper ones since you are just replacing a drive flange with the lockout. on vehicles with auto hubs, you need to buy the nuts and the lock ring.

Excellent, I'll just leave these on and ship the hubs out and he'll just leave his in place.
