Roll Me Over
Like I said before the rear two RARELY go bad. Did you do a reset of the computer, ie unhook the battery for a while and then give it a few days to relearn.

I would really doubt it's the rear o2 sensors unless someone had used some intake/carb cleaner that wasn't o2 sensor safe, or a gas additive that wasn't safe for o2 sensors.

Before Canada went metric, we used Imperial gallons (5 quarts to gallon instead of the 4 quarts in a US gallon).

I average about 24 mpg (CDN) with my 91 V6 trooper or 20 mpg (US). Of course I could also say I get 12.0 L/100km but that takes a bit of getting used to.

I wonder what kind of gas, what kind of 'miles' and
what kind of 'gallons' you guys in Canada have
to get 27 (!!!) miles per gallon ! Here in USA we can
get 27 MPG only in cars.

Just an update - Well it turns out i had 2 totally dead 02 sensors. I have replaced them and a fuel filter but not sure if it has totally fixed the mileage problem. I could only get 2 of the 4 and am waiting for the other 2 to come in so i can replace them as well. So far CEL is staying off. Best mileage i had with my truck is 27 mpg on long hwy trip. Right now is is getting 19 mpg for shorter trips and cant find a leak anywhere. Hopefully replacing the other 2 will make it just like a new truck.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Both rear 02 sensors were bad. They were worse than the front ones and almost seized in there. Took a bit of work to get them out. I have only owned the truck for 40,000 km's so i dont know what other problems someone had with it but I was told it looks like the rears had been changed before. Fired up the truck this morning and the engine sounds like it is running stronger so i hope this fixes the problem. Also did an oil change and put in an additive to help boost the compression. One was down a bit and noticed the truck was using a bit of oil. Cross your fingers everyone that I have no more problems.
