That is the real neat thing. According to some people in the business, The factory manual slider windows that come with Toyota's are made my C.R. Lawrence which is who makes this power window. Frame looks the same. Factory tint looks same and the stock gasket works perfectly. I will take some pics at sunlight tommorow and try to post them here. Sounds good! I'm looking forward to the pics.

It does looks great and from what I can tell, it looks factory. Tell us a bit more about the mechanics of this thing. Does it have a small motor to slide the window and if so where did you install it?
Guess, I'm interested in knowing how it actually slides the glass.
Lastly, it the price of listed above of $397 correct?

I should have taken a pic of motor part. The motor easily mounts behind rear seats (out of sight). There is a small (1/4") cable from motor to window that actually works window. When you press the switch, you don't hear the motor, the window just opens or closes. I'm thinking the cable actually screws clockwise and counter clockwise and within the frame of window is a shaft the window rides on. Hard to say without taken the frame apart as everything is sealed. But I am sure this is how its doing it.
Yes, I paid 397.00, they have multiple locations around U.S, mine was at my door the next day. As long as your gasket isnt dry rotted, it works perfectly. If dry rotted, they sell new gaskets for 40.00.

No problem on the questions, that is what this is all about. I would say there would be zero problems fitting the motor, it is low profile and you got plenty of options on where to mount, they give brackets for several different ways of mounting. I took pics of motor but am having problems getting them to post. Mike,
Can the window be opened manually? Or does the ignition need to be on so the window will open? I'm worried about when my 2 year old son gets a little older and stripping the gears when the ignition is off. Is it considered locked with the ignition off?

Motor mounts on inside behind seat. It is low profile and fits easily. I dont see anyway the gears could be stripped without using some serious tools. You don't have to remove any trim pieces. Installation was a piece of cake.
