The perfect air filter would trap 100% of debris but it
would let no air through. Today's filters use the oil and larger openings to maximize air flow and debris removal.

Don't forget air temerature. Cooler air makes for more horsepower. I believe they even make some sort of ice cooler for air intakes to create the cool air needed for peak performance.

Modifications to the average vehicle require many mods that will equal increased performance and fuel economy.
But in small amounts. Don't expect to lifting the front end with a air filter mod. Kenny S
