I have a 98 2.7 4x4 standard cab. I have noticed the noise for a while now and can't get rid of it. It only does it everyonce in a while and usually when i am not giving it gas. I have lifted my truck since the problem started. I have put diff tires and wheels, new shocks, and add-a-leafs under it and still sounds the same. Is their bearings in the axle i might need to check. I am getting ready to make a trip in it tomorrow to FL and back.
