Alright guys, I need some help with this one.

Almost two weeks ago now my Montero just up and died while I was cruising down the freeway. Checked for spark and there was none. Vehicle would still crank though. Interestingly, while cranking, the cylinders filled with fuel as the injectors for some reason got stuck in the on position.

Found that the computer had a burned area where a capacitor had failed. Sent the computer out (AvPro ECM). Sure enough, it was bad. Got the rebuilt one back, put it in and still no spark.

Guy working on the truck thinks that the ignition coil is OK. Where should we go from here? I hate to start buying new parts as a guess that they might be bad. Also, if you recommend a part, please let me know a good source for said part if you have any idea. 91 Montero parts can be hard to find sometimes.

I'm starting to miss the old girl. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
