I've been reading around about these kits, but a few people on other forums say they leak. Can anyone tell me if this is just an inherant problem with these or just the person who installed it didn't do it right????

Body Damage is Cool
I would say that if you used thread tape on all connections, compression or not, and had quality hoses, it should function as intended. I've always kicked around the idea of installing one, but the hoses present a weak spot that I have trouble overlooking.

the one thing I would look at before installing one of these is how much more oil will be necessary to run the system properly.

the description for the oil filter relocation kit on www.performanceproducts.com says that it adds almost a quart to the oil capacity.
