Hi im new to this forum and am the owner of a 4 cyl tacoma that has 115K on the clock- i was wondering if anybody has had the same problem with the heater controls. When i last changed the coolant it wouldnt get any heat out if it idled for 20min at normal operating temp-after a couple of daze leaving heat on hot it started blowing heat at 155-160 degrees, so i turned it temp down and had to go back through the whole process of driving around for days untill it came back(not a problem now with the winter) but now its getting warmer i might just want to turn it down! : <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Do u think the cable ends for the controls have melted from all that heat? Its never overheated and the mix valve opens all the way too!! Thanks for your helpful suggestions in advance
