These questions are mainly out of curiousity. I don't know a thing about the Liberty except most 4 wheeling Jeep owners I've talked to are not fond of them. Since I am not in the market for one and have no desire to go do a dealer to find out the answers here goes. I don't even know if it has ifs, just thought so.
Did anyone, be it individual owner or aftermarket company, ever do a solid axle swap on a KJ? Can it be done? I know in theory with $$$ and unlimited time anything can, but is it viable?
Again just curious. I like to hear about SASed rigs and the things it took to complete them.
Thanks Craig

yes. i dont remember who, but s&n fab did most of the steering work, and they aint cheap. all in all it had like 10" lift (via an SOA), dana 60's and s&n's bomb-proof crossover steering. i think it even had swampers...it was the only KJ i have ever thought of liking, cause it wasn't much a KJ any more

Mattb, it took me a while to remember but couldn't get that huge KJ out of my head. Peterson's 4wheel brought this KJ from Trailready out on the ultimate adventure last year. They had it in the Nov '03 issue, but I found a pic @ Trailready's Website - click here Pretty cool, but lots o' money!

Awesome, thats where I saw the pic., Petersons
Thanks for helping out my brief memory lapse, thought I saw a pic. but was in denial. Almost lost a corny all in fun "who's right" argument during a bar conversation. Nov '03, now I have the proof.
Thanks again Craig
