WHICH Trooper/Amigo axles? Year (and in some cases, production month?) Axle type, width, and gearing varies based on the dates and vehicles.

Any Isuzu axle made after the split to the 12-bolt Isuzu Corporate axle should hold up well to a small-block V8. Toyota axles are of similar design (but smaller in every dimension) and they hold up well...
