Thread groundrules:
1. It has to be possible to do - not easy, just possible
2. It has to be theoretically sound (and this may start a dandy thread hijack or two)
3. You can hijack the thread, but don't let that stop additional contributions to the original theme.
4. One man's daily driver is another man's dream mod - that's fine, just list the one that appeals to you the most, even if it's already been done.
5. Commenting or criticizing is fine, just keep it to ideas, not personalties. I find it possible to like you just fine and still disagree with some of your ideas....
6. The hard part - one to a customer - pick your dream mod and tell up why.

Here's the first in my style - you get to tell it your way

The "perfect" 2.6 motor with:
14G turbo, water/air i/c, programmable speed-density ecu, 8.2:1 compression Mahle forged pistons, Aussie magna late model head with roller cam and bigger combustion chamber and bigger valves (Hell, really dream! an HKS 4 valve head), custom intake with individual tapered velocity stacked runners with 70mm throttle body, DIS programmable ignition. 275hp/300ftlbs torque/25mpg.

Why? Have you ever driven 275hp in a 3500lb vehicle, or the equivalent power/weight ratio? It's a HOOT. It will plain eat up rice, and a lot of bbq and filet mignon and sauerkraut, too.

Power may corrupt, but it makes you SMILE....
