I am going to start a new mind project for you guys to toy with.

Project Monty Buggy

-Start with any 2 dr body and frame.
-Do rust work and get the body and frame tip top.
-Cut the top off from the windshield back.
-Install a very nice roll cage with triangulation, lots of tube. Insulated canvas top for the winter, bikini top for the summer.
-Strip down the drivetrain and put a 4.3 or other chevy engine in, auto tranny, np231 with 4:1
-92-93 Sr locker rear axle (4.88 and locker thats why)
-ford hpd60. 35 sline outers, arb locker (4.88's)
-tube out the wheel wells
-stretch the rear wheel base a couple of inches.
-4 link suspension front and rear, coils to keep it cheaper. Lift but nothing crazy, the wheel wells are gone so no clearance issues there.
-37 inch goodyear mts on those hummer rims with new centers.
-8274 front winch
-rear winch integrated into rear bumper.
-quick release doors, with tube doors for trail riding.
