OK...the shop replaced the fuel pump. I assume they drained and cleaned out the fuel tank also...that is good. I have seen moisture/water in the gas..do many stange things to a engine...

You say is drives Ok...but surges during idle now and then? (not all the time?) How about high speed, with a constant speed say 60mph....any surging ??

I also assume it is showing NO codes ??? Did the shop say everything is fine???



Yes the shop drained the tank etc and everything seems ok. No codes coming up. This surging problem has been ongoing for a few months now. It seems to usually surge on start up only with no specific time frame or reason.Can happen when vehicle is cold or after it has been driven for a bit. As soon as you put it in gear it stops surging and it rarely surges for more than 4 times in one start up. I have tried different gas, injector cleaner with no effect. Could it be an electrical glitch or a sensor or something?
