Those of you that have white lettering on the sidewall of the tire, do you have the letter facing toward the frame or exposed to the public and why? My Trooper came with the lettering facing the frame. In years past, I often thought the lettering, and so called whitewalls for car tires, were just plain ugly, so when replacing tires I would have them placed facing the interior. I can see, for practical reasons, with the lettering facing the frame, if the lettering gets scraped up, the outward appearance of the tire still looks good. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Sadly I had to get rid of my 1996 Trooper 3.2L due to a rusted frame.
