Depends on the truck. Mine is painted white and the raised white letters look good out. Also to me it depends on how much bling bling crap you have on your truck. I keep mine clean, I was really surprised that I put the "Only in a jeep (yeah whatever!)" sticker on mine.

But yeah, to each his own.
